Aromas of lemon cream pie and vanilla and lingering flavors of tropical fruit and well integrated, toasted oak are followed by a crisp yet rich finish. Partial fermentation in stainless steel tanks prior to this wine’s barrel aging allows for the wine to maintain crisp chardonnay fruit flavors while developing the richness that sur lees aging provides.
The Bough is a unique blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Barbera. Lush dark fruit overlays flavors of cedar and creamy chocolate on the palate. The finish hangs on with notes of espresso and candied cherry.
